TIME

Time for blogging seems to be non existent at the moment.

May tomorrow.

Peace out.

SWEET

Well, Easter has come, and gone, so now on to May. Lets hope that there will be lots more sun and beautiful weather throughout May. Although I bet it won't be, just to be depressive.

I have tried to get on with my vinyl challenge but it is not that easy to find time, just to listen to records. I shall plod, like a parade of elephants crossing a desert, persistence.

I have upon my desk, a Lindt Gold Bunny that my most delightful, and wonderful girlfriend gave me, I am very much looking forward to munching it down in a couple of gobbles!

We went for a walk in the countryside yesterday, (if yesterday was Monday), and I took some photographs, here are a few of them, plus also some others from the weekend.

The first three photographs I took yesterday, and the other two on Saturday, and Sunday.
The one of the wall is in Bath on Kingsmead North, and the flower is from our garden.

Time for football, so peace out people of the universe. x

SATURDAY

The sun is out again, it is pouring through my windows, and it is sublime. I recommend you get some sun through your windows. I heard you can phone up the weather man, from the telly, and order some sun, and they deliver it, much like a pizza, or something, that is what I heard anyway.

I am already listening to my Third record of this morning, two of them have been by LCD Soundsystem, which are absolutely fantastic. I love them. Now I'm listening to the latest album, Outside, by Tapes N' Tapes.
My task is still very large and extremely daunting.

YAWN. Really tired this morning, and I'm not particularly sure as to why, knowing I slept reasonably well, I am mystified by this.

Now, shortly, I need to go felt a shed roof, what a day.

Cinema later, Perhaps, Fast and Furious 5 or Thor? Probably Fast and Furious 5.
Cinema voucher win.

ENJOY SOME RUSKO THIS SATURDAY.

I love this song, it's great driving music.

Laterz.

LACKADAISICAL

It has been almost 4 days, time has flown, been doing too much to get on here.

THE SUN HAS BEEN OUT ALL WEEK AND I LOVE IT.

Sadly however I've not really taken many photos, although I may upload something if I can find anything that I like enough. I think I may have a couple.

Meanwhile, here is a nice remix for you.

I quite like it, you might too.
I will never know.
 never ever.
ever.
.

SPINES.

BRICKS.

I told you I'd find something to upload, and I did. I took both these in the last week.

NEWS:
Today I ordered, from HMV,  Tron/Tron Legacy double DVD for £16.99 and I can not wait for it to be delivered. EXCITED. SO EXCITED. Sorry.

Time for me to runaway for a while.
Peace out.

VINYL TASK

So, it has been a couple days since I was on here, and I've had an idea.

I am currently in the process of listing all my records, and then I aim to re-listen to them all, from A to Z (probably alphabetically, anyway.), and then tick them off when I've listened.

It will be a mammoth task, I have no doubts, but I feel like I ought to listen to more music, especially all the records I've bought.

I will launch a new pages with all my records listen as soon as I've listed them, which could take a while, but hopefully in the next week, or so.

I, so far, have listen all my 12'' records up to P, but have yet to do 7'' singles, and 10'' items. It could be a bit of time before it is all done. I am really looking forward to this, as I hope it'll be fun and I'll enjoy listening to some of my favourite artists and bands.

I'm not going to write any more now, which means I can crack on listing my records.

but I'll leave you with a song...

I really enjoyed the Radiohead release from Record Store Day, and I hope you do, also check out 'Supercollider'

over and out.

Foals.

I am listening now and I suddenly feel relaxed. I seem to be exhausted, and flustered. I'm not sure where to go next, and I can't quite think clear.
There is a haze on the horizon of everything, my eyes want to close themselves and rest.

Time for something I saw in the news.

ORANGE SHEEP

Yeah, I know it's a bit stange, but if it works then, fair enough!

I took this today, just after I finished work. I like it.

It is not very late, but I feel like I could curl up a sleep for about 3 days. That would be lovely. I don't think I'd sleep much past 6.30am tomorrow, sadly. I don't know why it is at present, I can't seem to sleep in the mornings, I'm always awake up to an hour before I need to be, it is frustrating as I would love/could use the sleep. I wish I was a cat, they always sleep, and ALWAYS look snug.
JEALOUSY

Save it.
Must drift away from here now.
Be green.
Save the world.

bleep.

CAKE OR DEATH?

Cake or Death.

I just found this, and as I love it so much I thought I'd share it with you, here, also, is a video to wet your appetite, from the Eddie Izzard Lego sketches collection!

 The complete transcript of

“Bang! Bang! Boom! Bang! Rat-a-tat boom! Bang!”

OH BUOY.

Like I said, oh buoy. I know I'm probably not very original, but I don't care.

Tron: Legacy soundtrack by Daft Punk is out on Monday (18/04), so I'm heading down to Raves from the Grave in Frome to grab my copy, also I'll be heading down there on 16/04 for Record Store Day for some limited releases, especially Foals, Rolo Tomassi, Franz Ferdinand, and Radiohead, and perhaps see what else is about, maybe a Lady Gaga 12'' picture disc.
Who knows what'll be there?

exciting.

As is rained today, I thought I'd find a song about rain.
This is what came to my mind first, although I'm sure that there are many more songs that contain rain in one form or another, but I really like this, which is why it came to mind, I guess.
Thom Yorke - And It Rained All Night

WHICH MADE ME THINK OF THIS!
Thom Yorke gets down to ''Single Ladies'' (Lotus Flower Dub)

Also, one more thing on the rain front

I think that is enough from me for you for today.
Have a fruitful evening.

DID YOU SEE THE FLASH?

Here, I am sat on this Tuesday afternoon.

10 minutes. Stop.

Wow. I am hungry, I feel like I could eat for ever.
GOOD PIE.

Let's roll. Bonobo on the stereo, nothing like a vinyl LP, I just love how it feels, crackles, and most of all, has some character, it makes the music more enjoyable, that's what I think anyway.
I love buying music on vinyl, unwrapping it as soon as you get through the door, or before!

I can't quite get my mind around how much I love this South Central remix of Warrior's Dance by The Prodigy, it's flippin' mental!
The Prodigy - Warrior's Dance (South Central remix)

That is all that need be said about that.

If you have always wanted to see Lady Gaga fall off a piano, look no further than here...

Today I bought Metronomy's new album 'The English Riviera' on Vinyl LP.
Can't wait to have a listen soon.

Peace out organisms.

Monday 11 April 2011

MONDAY HAS APPEARED

So, another weekend has gone, and I already only have hazy memories of the events that happened. I feel so exhausted, I don't know whether to sleep or not, it is one of those things, do I go to bed early, and probably wake up earlier than usual, or do i just go to bed at the usual time and be tired until then?

I am currently listening to Battles with the track 'Africastle', which is absolutely superb, and I can't wait to hold the LP in my hands and just go 'wow'. It will be a good day.

I saw this on the BBC this morning before I went to work, and it made me smile and think how excited I would've been if I was still a child looking up at a huge tower of Lego, I think it would be ace, and I would still love to have been there. Check it out....

THE TALLEST LEGO TOWER IN THE WORLD

I took a photo today, it is below. I walk this way to work, it is a very pleasant walk in the sunshine, especially this morning as the birds were singing and no one else was about, pure bliss. I like walking alone in the mornings, mostly, but other times too.

That being that, I have happened upon a 12 month subscription to Q magazine for, sort of, FREE!
Yeah, I know you're jealous. I bought it for 50,000 purehmv points. What a bargain, however I may not get the first issue for 8-10 weeks, at which point I will have probably forgotten all about it, and it'll then be a very nice surprise.

I'll leave you with this

enjoy people of the world. x

PHOTOGRAPHS: PT. II

So, here is the next installment of my photographs from today, I did take some others too, only before realising I had a great big dirt mark on my lens.
SUCKS.
I got over it, as annoying as it was, and I carried on, on my journey. I like pretending to be good at photography, even though I'm not, because it give me a good feeling deep down inside knowing that I'm really enjoying doing what I'm doing, and I don't really care if no one else likes it, I enjoy looking at them, and that's all that matters to me.
This is one of the doors into my home, I didn't really notice how grubby it was until I took this, and it still is, and most likely will remain that grubby, and get grubbier, in the coming months
I really like this photograph, I find it deceptive, at a glance it appear to be out of focus, and I like that about it, it's not always about the bigger picture, sometimes it is the small details that make something what it is, and in this photograph I believe that's the case.
This image reminds makes me think of Spanish roofs for some reason, I'm not particularly sure as to why, but it does. It is actually just a roof to a single storey building near my home, which is nowhere near Spain, unfortunately
Guttered, aaahhh. I don't really have must explanation or description for this, other than it being a gutter and it has some leaves and soil in it.

On a final note, nothing to do with photographs.

WHY DOES SHOCKWAVE KEEP CRASHING ON CHROME?

For now and until next time, keep it real.

PHOTOGRAPHS

I like something about this photo, I realise that it isn't competition winning, or anything, but it just shows a happy little bird hopping along a roof in the bright sunshine. Glorious. Happiness. Sun.

I have just been on a delightful 15 minute walk in this bright sunshine, and taken a few snaps, so I'm going to share some with you whilst I ramble on about things.

PIED WAGTAIL.

I like to photograph my surroundings, I like getting an unusual angle of something seen every day, that isn't  necessarily appreciated for what it is until it is viewed differently, also with ,my photographs I like to leave them as I've taken them, not just because my editing skills are non-existent, but because I feel as if it is fake, and untrue to how the event truly was.
I understand why some are edited, but I just don't like
doing it with my photographs.

EDIT.

Here are a few more photographs from today.

Just those for now, but I'm sure there will be more in the future.

THAT'S THAT

METRONOMY

AHHHHH!
The English Riviera, the new album by Metronomy.
Hear it HERE! (and buy it on Monday 11/04/11)

I think its more of a grower than perhaps Nights Out was, and it is certainly a bit more gentle and relaxing, saying that I absolutely love all their other releases!

Buy Metronomy music physically from Banquet Records in Kingston, or download it from iTunes, or 7Digital, or where ever.

METRONOMY - RADIO LADIO

While on the subject of music I'm really in love with, Wax Fang, a band from Kentucky, US. I saw them at Dot to Dot festival 2010 in Bristol, and in my opinion they were 1st equal best band of the day, them and Islet, from Cardiff, were both incredible.

WAX FANG - MAJESTIC
 EQUAL
ISLET - WE SHALL VISIT

Time for Live at the Apollo on One now. Shine.

SUNSHINE and TOMS

FEEDING TIME

I ate my lunch out in the garden today! It was glorious.
Thank you for being interested, it was nice to know.

I have not worked to, as I didn't have to, and I'm glad because it was such a fantastic day, such a beautiful day. I got up to some usual activities, such as glazing a greenhouse, which turned out not to be green, I was disappointed, as you'd imagine.

I don't recall the last day we had that was as superb as today, so I'm glad I had the chance to be out and about.

Also, big news.

I bought some feel good shoes today! yeahh!
TOMS, one for one, shoes that make a different. YOU buy a pair. THEY give a pair to a child in need. what could be more satisfying?

They are very comfortable, and good for summer days, also, ultimately, you can be happy knowing that you've helped someone in need. I say again.... TOMS

OVER AND OUT

LIFE GAMES

HOT PURSUIT

It has been a lot of my spare hours this past week. The latest version of NFS: Hot Pursuit, it has incredible graphics and it is far too addictive. I can not seem to play it enough at the moment.
I RECOMMEND IT.

I remember about 12 years ago when I played Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit until the disc broke and it couldn't be used anymore, It was, and probably still is, awesome.

So, after many hours playing F1 2010, I am now on to NFS: Hot Pursuit, which is easier and less competitive, but more aggressive and angry.
NO RULES in NFS.

FUN

It is time to plug in and feel for real.

I also ask myself questions, questions like...

H O W ?
W H E N ?
W H Y ?
W H A T  I F?
C A N  I ?
I S  I T  R E L E V A N T ?
W H A T  I S  L I F E ?

answers never come tumbling down toward me, perhaps it is because there is a wall of fingers in their path.

FADE

Arial.

My energy is depleted, and I can not see forward, only behind, negativity.

The darkness is upon us, as we prepare for the reviving rest that'll jolt us back into life. TLF. Deep down in the inner most innerness of my inners is what I need. MOTIVATION. MOVEMENT. REACTION.

My mind feels like a mess of cables, a never ending jumble of trails and confusion.
PERHAPS LIKE THIS.

Twisting and turning around each other, through each other, between each other, stopping each other in their tracks, like a blend of mess.

MY HEAD SPINS.
