YES. I know it has been ages and ages, but I've just not had enough time to sit down and write on here, so I'm trying to do that now. Thank you for your patience.
SO. FOOTBALL. LOMOGRAPHY FISHEYE. RECORDS. WEATHER.
FOOTBALL: I have just watched the UEFA Champions League final between Manchester United and Barcelona at Wembley Stadium in London, in which Barcelona outplayed and outclassed Manchester United and won by 3 goals to one.
So, Lionel Messi, is just incredible, some of this is just jaw dropping, I can't tell you how good it is as there isn't words to describe it!
LOMOGRAPHY FISHEYE: I was in Urban Outfitters on Wednesday and they had Lomography Fisheye cameras for £30, rather than £45, and I just couldn't resist this bargain, the only downside is it looks like the image below.
I am now keen to take lots of photos on my fisheye. EXCITED.
RECORDS:
I have FINALLY gotten my hands onto the debut album by Battles on 12'' Vinyl, which I've been after for a couple of years, I now have it and am very pleased, it is a beautiful record.
So, another weekend has gone, and I already only have hazy memories of the events that happened. I feel so exhausted, I don't know whether to sleep or not, it is one of those things, do I go to bed early, and probably wake up earlier than usual, or do i just go to bed at the usual time and be tired until then?
I am currently listening to Battles with the track 'Africastle', which is absolutely superb, and I can't wait to hold the LP in my hands and just go 'wow'. It will be a good day.
I saw this on the BBC this morning before I went to work, and it made me smile and think how excited I would've been if I was still a child looking up at a huge tower of Lego, I think it would be ace, and I would still love to have been there. Check it out....
I took a photo today, it is below. I walk this way to work, it is a very pleasant walk in the sunshine, especially this morning as the birds were singing and no one else was about, pure bliss. I like walking alone in the mornings, mostly, but other times too.
That being that, I have happened upon a 12 month subscription to Q magazine for, sort of, FREE!
Yeah, I know you're jealous. I bought it for 50,000 purehmv points. What a bargain, however I may not get the first issue for 8-10 weeks, at which point I will have probably forgotten all about it, and it'll then be a very nice surprise.
Well, this is the very first line of the very first blog of my very first life.
I feel like this could go well, and I have somewhere to reel off my maze of thoughts and opinions, it is a blank area that needs to be filled with life.
I desire to get some links up, something to catch the attention of you busy people, who don't care about me, but something that might make you stop and go 'oh, that's interesting', or something along those lines.
I am a big fan of music, so I imagine most of my posts will contain something to do with music, or noise, as some humans may describe it.
Where better to go than the mighty Youtube?
Here is the new song from Battles, a band I have loved for about 4 or 5 years, and I am already loving this track.
Battles - Ice Cream (Featuring Matias Aguayo) will be realeased on their new album Gloss Drop out on June 6th 2011 via Warp Records.
I am very much anticpating this realease, it seems so far away at the moment, but I'm sure the days will fly by.
I think time has ticked away and the internet is running out.
